We caught up with Matt to discuss life in Erie and how he makes the most of his YEP membership.
YEP: Why did you decide to move back to Erie?
ML: First and foremost, I decided to come back to Erie because this is where my family resides and my relationship to them is important. I also returned home because I genuinely believe that Erie's best days are ahead of it and I wanted to be a part of the resurgence.
YEP: Why did you decide to join YEP? How has your membership benefited you?
ML: I believe that the organization will help give me the best opportunity to be involved in Erie's revival by working and meeting with other young Erie professionals in the area with similar goals. I have really made some great friendships through the organization that I know will help me grow both personally and professionally.
YEP: What more can YEP do for its members during the COVID-19 pandemic?
ML: I would like to see more trivia nights. I had a great time on the virtual event held in late June!
Thank you, Matt for your commitment to YEP and Erie!
