YEP HOSTS CITY & COUNTY COUNCIL CANDIDATES FOR A FORUM

On September 12th, YEP hosted a Candidate Forum with 8 of the 12 nominees for Erie City and Erie County Councils.  The forum was moderated by Kim Thomas, the Director of Strategic Initiatives of the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership.  Candidates were invited to come and share their views and vision for Erie with YEP members.  We focused on issues most relevant to Erie's young professionals including economic and community development, public safety, diversity and inclusion, and taxes and budget.  Member Tom-Fox Davies of FDF Productions captured the event for those unable to attend.  We encourage you to watch the video of the forum to help you prepare for the election on November 5th.  Don't forget to register to vote or update your voter registration before October 7th at https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov.  You can also review our DTM Candidate Forum Handout.
